WASHINGTON – Some people say that depression is caused by a lack of communication. Now, a new study from the University of Maryland School of Medicine shows that they may even be true at the neurological level.

Host Andrew Hiller spoke with Dr. Scott Thompson, a professor of physiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, to discuss the origins of depression.
