Malaysian aircraft feared lost
Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to the Chinese capital lost contact with Malaysia’s Subang Air Traffic Control at 2.40 a.m. local time March 8. The flight was carrying 227 passengers (including 2 infants) and 12 crew members, according to the statement.
“Malaysia Airlines is currently working with the authorities who have activated their Search and Rescue team to locate the aircraft,” the statement read. The airline promised to provide regular updates on the situation.
