Tuesday sees a state funeral of First Abkhazian President Vladislav Ardzinba, who died in Moscow on March 4. He was 64. In connection with his death, March 7, 8 and 9 have been declared days of national mourning with entertainment programs on radio and television cancelled. Ardzinda has been Abkhazia’s leader since 1991.
