Terminator 5 may have a new actor on board, to take the role of John Connor! British actor Tom Hardy is rumoured to have signed onto the project, as the all grown-up leader of the human resistance. Hardy, 36, replaces Garrett Hedlund, who was also said to have been chosen to play Connor.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to appear in his title role as the Terminator.

The rest of the cast is still up in the air - Sarah Connor could be played by either Emilia Clarke, Brie Larson or Margot Robbie.

But, there is plenty of time for producers to make a decision...the film is slated to come out in July of 2015.

And singer Katy Perry has picked up the 2013 MTV European Music Award for best female singer in Amsterdam last night, beating to the punch both Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.

"This is so cool. I was sitting backstage drinking champagne, looking at all those amazing artists, thinking I'm not going to win,'' Perry said.

Just two announcements before her award, she sang her latest hit“Unconditionally”. The song comes off of her last album Prism, that was released less than a month ago, by Capitol records.

The performance was like no other done by Perry. She was suspended in air and twisted, wearing a multicolor costume. Some publications have dubbed the act as a “human maypole.”

The best female singer is her third European Music Award.

Downtown Abby will see a 5th season! That’s after a vicious season finale last night - where two well-loved characters were killed off, one soon after committing a sexual assault, a plot detail that has left some fans upset.

While the Telegraph reports, that more than 400 people have contacted Ofcom, the British government-approved regulatory and competition authority for broadcasting, since the show aired, it will doubtfully affect the rest of the series.

It is that love of titillating topics that has made the show the highest rated drama on British television in 2013, averaging nearly 12 million viewers.

The fans will see a Christmas special next month, before having to entertain themselves with reruns, until the 5th season….in which the makers say they plan to take a look at the husband material for Lady Mary, Bransons chemistry with a village school teacher as well as Lady Edith’s pregnancy.

And the four performances given by the Russian ballerina Diana Vishneva at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts all ended in standing ovations.

Four shows, consisting of two one act ballets were a huge success, according to the LA Times. The first ballet Switch, directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, the artistic director of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, second one Woman in a Room, by Caroline Carlson of the National Ballet art center in France.

Both works are said to open the internal world of a woman before the audience.

The production will be performed in Europe in the next few months, and in Moscow and St.Petersburg, next year.
