Russian Bell magazine comes off press following 83-year break

The Russian Bell public and philosophical magazine has come off the press in Russia following an 83-year break.

The first editor of the magazine was the Great Russian religious philosopher Ivan Ilyin.

The founders of the new edition are the Russian Orthodox University and the Charity Fund contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage.

According to the editors, the magazine will publish Ilyin’s unpublished works, as well as works by the Russian clergy, and public, philosophical and theological research.

The 10th issue of the magazine is due to be officially presented on Friday.
