Trial against Gaddafi’s son starts
The Libyan authorities are charging Saif al-Islam of violating the state’s security, an attempt to flee from a prison and desecration of the state’s flag. The International Criminal Court is charging him of murders and violations of human rights.
It is the International Criminal Court that ordered to arrest Saif al-Islam Gaddafi in June 2011. He and his two aides were arrested when they attempted to cross the border with Niger near the Libyan city of Obari.
