British court sentences 2hackers to 100 hours of community service

A British court sentenced two hackers to 100 hours of community service on Friday for hacking into computers of Sony Music company.

According to the prosecution, 27-year old James Marks and 26-year old James McCormick hacked the US servers of Sony and stole almost 8,000 files related to Michael Jackson. The British police arrested the hackers in May 2011.

As it turned out from their correspondence found in their computers the hackers were going to sell most of the stolen files.
