Serbia’s National Assembly to get CSTO permanent observer status

In the near future the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will get permanent observer status at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). This was announced by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin after his working visit to Serbia.

"In the nearest future the National Assembly of Serbia will decide on sending a Serbian delegation of parliamentarians to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly to secure permanent observer status," said the politician.

The CSTO is a military-political alliance, which unites Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
