Pushkin House in London sets up new literary prize

London’s Pushkin House has established a literary prize for Russian-speaking authors who write nonfiction books about Russia in English.

A jury consisting of popular writers, critics and journalists from Russia and Britain will make the list of candidates for the prize and name the winners.

The prize winners will also receive 5,000 pounds sterling.

Founded several decades ago, the Pushkin House cultural center in London is designed to popularize the Russian language and culture in Britain.
