Viktor Bout could have been sentenced to 3 life terms in prison

In New York, convicted Russian arms trafficker Viktor Bout is waiting to be transferred to a place where he will serve his 25-year sentence behind the bars for conspiring to sell weapons to a U.S. -based foreign terrorist group based in Columbia. District judge Shira Scheindlin could have sentenced Bout to 3 life terms for his conviction on four counts of conspiring to kill American citizens, sell anti-aircraft missiles and provide financial support to a foreign terrorist organization. Instead, Viktor Bout received a minimum sentence of 25 years. We are now joined on the line to discuss this story by T.
