Jury's deliberation on the case of Viktor Bout to be continued today
A jury of the Federal Court in New York has not reached a verdict on the case of Victor Bout, the meeting will continue on Wednesday. Bout is accused of conspiring to kill Americans and U.S. officials, trying to acquisitions and sales of missiles and support for terrorism through cooperation with the Colombian group "Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia."
Discussion will continue on Wednesday in federal court in New York at 10:00.
If convicted, he faces from 25 years to a life in prison. Viktor Bout was arrested in Bangkok in 2008 on an arrest warrant issued by the United States. In 2010, the Thai government yielded to U.S. pressure to extradite him to New York.
