Riga Mayor to be taken to Berlin hospital
Riga Mayor Nil Ushakov will be transported to a hospital in Berlin, his press-secretary Anna Kononova said citing medical officials.
Ushakov remains in serious but stable condition after being hospitalized to one of the Latvian clinics with signs of hyperthermia on Sunday.
He was placed in a medically induced coma.
Ushakov was taking part in a 21-km marathon race in Riga on Sunday when suddenly collapsed shortly before the finish line.
