Russian car maker Marussia Motors has acquired a stake in UK-based Virgin Racing in what many experts believe will strengthen this country’s Formula One team. The new team, to be called Marussia Virgin Racing starting from next year, will soon be rolling out a jointly-made F1 car.

Russian car maker Marussia Motors has acquired a stake in UK-based Virgin Racing in what many experts believe will strengthen this country’s Formula One team.

The new team, to be called Marussia Virgin Racing starting from next year, will soon be rolling out a jointly-made F1 car.

Virgin Racing, which made its Formula One debut only this year, was previously owned by British businessman Richard Branson.
