Legion d'Honneur for Shumacher
German Formula 1 pilot Michael Shumacher has been awarded with France’s touted Legion of Honor. Speaking at Thursday’s awarding ceremony
at the Hotel Matignon in Paris, French Prime Minister Francois Fillon, himself a big fan of car racing, said Schumacher had for many years
been second only to five-time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio in the number of world titles won. Michael Shumacher has since surpassed the legendary Argentinean winning seven world speed-racing titles.
