Japanese security agencies are to question the sailors of two Japanese fishing boats which were shot by Russian border guards, once again, a source with the authorities in Tokyo said Monday. According to the source, for some reason the captains of the boats tried to hide the fact of the attack from the national authorities. The source said that the information of the route has vanished from the navigation systems of boats. Officials in the security department of Japan think that it could be done on purpose.

On January 30, Russian border guards shot at two Japanese fishing boats which sailed into the Russian territorial waters. Japan's Foreign Ministry declared a protest to the Russian embassy in Tokyo. The board of the fishing farm claimed that the boats did not violate the borders.
